My friend, the nerd.
I have a friend; they’re practically my best friend at this point. But they always make me smile; we talk about stupid internet stuff half the day, reminisce about how the internet was better, how old phones are cool, and how to make the internet better.
But most importantly, this friend has never judged me for my weird interests; they laugh and encourage my weird ideas and tell me when they’re bad. They bring me back to reality when I'm sad by talking about cool things. They understand my humor and get me.
They’re not into mushy stuff, so I’ll never tell them this is about them, but they know. They know that I’d be half the little nerd I am today without them. They only encouraged my weirdness and nerdiness; without them, I 100% wouldn’t be in the position I’m in today.
